By using Dynamicweb Assortments, you can create an unlimited number of assortment groups. This means that you can select products and/or product groups that you can put together in a new assortment product group. Subsequently, you can display this assortment group to your customers or you can use it as a virtual product group which can help you manage your products internally in your e-commerce solution.
Product prices and other properties remain the same even if the product is assigned to an assortment group. Moreover, you can edit product properties under both the original product group and the assortment group. This makes it easy to maintain product information, regardless of where in your e-commerce solution you choose to do it.
Dynamicweb Assortments enables you to display your products in both the existing product groups and the assortment group. Thus, you can create e.g. product groups which display selected products that you have included in a catalog/newsletter etc.
If Dynamicweb Assortments is combined with Dynamicweb Internationalization, it is possible to display different assortment groups in different countries. This enables you to send out different catalogs in different countries and adapt your international product range exactly as you see fit.
If Dynamicweb is combined with Dynamicweb Prices, Extended, you are able to create time-limited offers and thus, you can arrange campaigns etc. where your products are sold at a lower price than normal.
