Diffentiate your products and product properties
By using Dynamicweb Variants, it is possible to differentiate products which are basically identical but vary in product properties, such as color, weight etc. Thus, the module enables you to create products which are basically identical but vary in product properties.
In practice, you first create the variant categories that you want to use, such as color, size etc. Subsequently, you create a number of variant values within each category, such as black, red, small, large etc.
Finally, you attach the variant categories to the products you want to differentiate which enables you to create exactly the combinations that you want, such as:
Black, Medium
Black, Large
Red, Small
Blue, Large
Dynamicweb Variants, Extended, enables you to further differentiate the product using all product properties. Each variant created can have different names, prices, stock status, weight, volume or display images which gives you practically endless possibilities for differentiating your Product Catalog to reflect the variants you have in stock.
If Variants, Extended, is combined with Prices, Extended, it is also possible to differentiate the price of the individual variants which means that e.g. the variant “black, large” costs more than “blue, large”.
